Back at Winter Wonder Slam: Black Friday last November, Vendetta Pro Commissioner Joseph Duncan announced that Lucha Underground star and Vendetta Pro Heavyweight Champion Little Cholo (a.k.a. Mr. Cisco) would be out of action due to a shoulder injury and would be unable to make his scheduled title defense. Rather than bring to an end the longest Vendetta Pro Heavyweight title reign by way of unintentional forfeiture, Duncan stated that his reign as Champion would be “suspended” at 483 days, and that a new “Interim” Heavyweight Champion would be crowned.

Later, Duncan would state that Cholo had up to six months to return to action, or his title would be stripped and the “Interim” tag would be lifted, giving the Interim titleholder full status.

Fortunately for everyone involved, that stipulation will not come into play, as Little Cholo will return to action on Friday, February 26 at the Radisson Hotel Santa Maria. On that night, Cholo will enter “Radisson Square Garden” as Vendetta Pro Wrestling Heavyweight titleholder for day 484. His first challenger will be the man who defeated Rik Luxury at Reflexion for the Interim Heavyweight title, SoCal Crazy.

The winner of this match will be declared the Undisputed Vendetta Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. On February 26, either Little Cholo will further solidify his unquestioned claim as the greatest Vendetta Pro Heavyweight Champion of all time, or SoCal Crazy will further legitimize his claim to the Heavyweight crown, having defeated the last two men–Luxury and Cholo–to have held the title.
