VENDETTA PRO GOES VEGAS!
Casino Royale, in association with Adrenaline Unleashed

LAS VEGAS, NV (VP) – Vendetta Pro Wrestling made it’s first appearance in the City of Sin to team up with Adrenaline Unleashed Pro Wrestling to present “Casino Royale”. Besides bringing this awesome event to a great live crowd, the event was also broadcast live to a worldwide audience on justin.tv/vpwtv by SCR Productions! The event began in the Adrenaline Unleashed six-sided ring with ring announcer J. Biggs stating that “Gorgeous” Joey kAos has relinquished the Vendetta Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship due to injury, and that the event would conclude with a “Casino Royale” Rumble to crowd a new Champion. Also, Adrenaline Unleashed featured Number One Contendership matches for both the Las Vegas Championship and the Adrenaline Unleashed Championships, as well as a title match for the Adrenaline Unleashed Women’s Championship. In addition, this event featured a few of the top names in Professional Wrestling, including former ECW and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Raven, former ECW, WWE and TNA Superstar Gangrel The Vampire Warrior, and former WWE Superstar Junior “Rikishi” Fatu! Former WCW and WWE referee Billy Silverman was there. Even the legendary Paul “Butcher” Vachon stopped by for this epic event! Two promotions, one event, all in the Entertainment Capital of the World. Here now are the results for “Casino Royale”!

Vendetta Pro Wrestling
Opening Singles Match

“The Modern-Day Midas”
Mario Banks

-vs.-
Famous B.

Mario Banks, the man who has conquered the world of Investment Banking, has now come in to conquer the world of Professional Wrestling. The only problem… the high-flying Famous B. A good match to begin this event comes to an end after Famous B. leveled Banks with a Superkick, and then nailed the Senton Bomb to pick up the pinfall victory.

Winner by Pinfall:
Famous B.

Adrenaline Unleashed Pro Wrestling
Singles Match

Gunner Tobias Ulrich
w/ T.K.
-vs.-
Kraven

Kraven came out to a great response from the live crowd. “The Erection of Perfection, Your Sick Obsession” Gunner Tobias Ulrich is one-third of Picture Perfect, along with T.K. and “Pretty” Peter Avalon. T.K. accompanied Ulrich to the ring for this match, and in the end, helped him to a victory when, with Ulrich on the ring apron, Kraven attempted to Suplex him back into the ring. T.K. grabbed Kraven’s feet and tripped him. Ulrich landed on top, and pinned Kraven while T.K. managed to stay out of the official’s view, holding Kraven’s feet down while Ulrich picked up the three-count.

Winner by Pinfall:
Gunner Tobias Ulrich

Vendetta Pro Wrestling
Three-Way Match

Eric Cross
-vs.-
Jacob Diez
-vs.-
Johnny Saovi

Vendetta Pro Wrestling is well-known for it’s “Triforce” Three-Way Elimination Matches. However, this one was a ‘standard’ three-way, one-fall match. Great action, with each man getting in a bit of offense, but in the end, it was the ever-crafty Eric Cross who left Vegas as a winner.

Winner by Pinfall:

Eric Cross

Adrenaline Unleashed Pro Wrestling
Singles Match

Johnny Goodtime
-vs.-
Jayson Cash

Johnny Goodtime, one-half of the RockNES Monsters, took on the significantly larger Jayson Cash. However, larger men tend to have less maneuverability, and Goodtime took advantage of this many times throughout the match, picking up the victory and the winner’s purse… more money for videogames!

Winner by Pinfall:
Johnny Goodtime

The event went into a short intermission, and then Vendetta Pro Wrestling presented a special video presentation, a tribute video to the late Gertrude “Luna” Vachon. Luna was a pioneer in Women’s wrestling, and was close to many of the members of the Vendetta Pro Wrestling roster. At different times in her career, Luna wrestled for the American Wrestling Associaton, Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation. Luna had also once been a housemate with Raven, and had once been married to Gangrel, with whom she had remained close friends. Luna had been honored by the Cauliflower Alley Club, given the “Ladies Wrestling Award”, and was fond about her work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Inter-Promotional Singles Match
Adrenaline Unleashed Women’s Championship

Buggy
-vs.-
Adrenaline Unleashed Women’s Champion
Nikki The New York Knockout

Special Guest Referee
ThunderKitty

The first title match of the night was also the first Inter-promotional match as Vendetta Pro Wrestling’s Buggy challenged Nikki for her Adrenaline Unleashed title, with Vendetta Pro Wrestling’s ThunderKitty as the Special Guest Referee (although her official’s shirt had an embroidered Adrenaline Unleashed logo sewn on it). While Buggy and ThunderKitty have had a rocky past at-best, they are both members of the Vendetta Pro Wrestling roster, and apparently an arrangement had been made for Buggy to steal the Adrenaline Unleashed title. Throughout the contest, Buggy’s illegal actions were often ignored or corrective action from the official, ThunderKitty, was delayed (including one incident in which ThunderKitty was caught checking her makeup during the match!), and pin attempts by Buggy were counted quickly, while Nikki’s pin attempts were obviously counted slowly. However, in the end, even a slow-count and a ‘stuttered’ three couldn’t save Buggy, as Nikki forced the official’s hand down for the third time, and the “New York Knockout” successfully defended her title.

Winner by Pinfall
and STILL
Adrenaline Unleashed Women’s Champion:

Nikki The New York Knockout

After The Match
Buggy confronted ThunderKitty, making their arrangement obvious to the crowd… especially when the money slipped out from underneath Kitty’s shirt. ThunderKitty tried to explain what had happened, but finally, just decided that she had her money and the match was over… time to hit the slots! She bailed out, leaving an infuriated Buggy behind. We at Vendetta Pro Wrestling do not endorse or condone the actions taken by Buggy or ThunderKitty.

Vendetta Pro Wrestling
Tag-Team Match

The Midnight Delight
Billy Blade & Sean Casey
w/ Tiana & Brian Zane
-vs.-
SU/KA
Sunami & Kadin Anthony

“The Rock of Love” Billy Blade teamed up with former Vendetta Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion “Sexy” Sean Casey to form Midnight Delight, along with the sultry Tiana and “Z-Man” Brian Zane (the modern-day Jim Cornette), as they came out to take on SU/KA; the team of Sunami and Kadin Anthony. SU/KA have proven themselves to be one of the best Tag-Teams on the West Coast with recent victories, and although they started out well, they couldn’t overcome the experience advantage—not to mention, the four-to-two odds, as Tiana often provided a distraction while Zane had illegally gotten involved many times—as the team of Blade & Casey walked away with a stolen victory in a match which proves why promoters and commissioners have stated for decades that Tag-Team wrestling needs an additional official on the outside.

Winners by Pinfall:
The Midnight Delight

Adrenaline Unleashed Pro Wrestling
Singles Match
Number One Contendership for the
Adrenaline Unleashed Las Vegas Championship

Vansack Acid
-vs.-
Tommy Misfit

The crowd erupts loudly whenever Tommy Misfit hits the ring, as they did in this match as he took on Vansack Acid. Acid is known for his work in Japan for Pro-Wrestling Zero-One as well as for holding victories over the likes of Low-Ki and Paul London. In this match, Acid had virtually every advantage a wrestler can have in a match: size, strength, experience, leverage, as well as matching speed and agility. Still, Misfit had two things working for him: heart, and the crowd behind him. These two things are often undervalued in Professional Wrestling, but this match proved their value, as a brutally beaten Tommy Misfit managed to edge out a close victory in a match. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good, and it’s great when you’re both (especially in Las Vegas). Misfit will now have a shot at the Las Vegas title at the Indie Music Fest event on May 21.

Winner by Pinfall
and NEW Number One Contender for the
Adrenaline Unleashed Las Vegas Championship:

Tommy Misfit

Adrenaline Unleashed
Singles Match
Number One Contendership for the
Adrenaline Unleashed Championship

#4 Ranked Contender
KG Fury
-vs.-
#1 Ranked Contender
Ty-Tan

The massive Ty-Tan put his #1 Ranking on the line in this match against KG Fury. The winner will receive a shot at the Adrenaline Unleashed Pro Wrestling Championship at the Indie Music Fest event on May 21.
KG Fury used a smart strategy of working the big man’s legs, reducing his stability, maneuverability and ability to use leverage. However, Ty-Tan was able to utilize his deceptive speed and explosiveness to overcome this limitation to pick up the win and retain his top ranking, as well as to earn a shot at the title.

Winner by Pinfall:
Ty-Tan

Vendetta Pro Wrestling
Singles Match

Shannon Ballard
-vs.-
Former ECW, WWE & TNA Superstar
Gangrel The Vampire Warrior
w/ Kiara Dillon

Shannon Ballard, a veteran of the Tag-Team wars, has quickly adapted to the Singles Division, becoming one of the top competitors in all of Vendetta Pro Wrestling. In this match, he took on another veteran, Gangrel The Vampire Warrior. Ballard, a very proud Canadian, nearly walked out of the match as the crowd mercilessly chanted “USA! USA!” at him. However, Ballard is a master of the mind games, and used this as well as other tactics to exploit the one weakness that Gangrel is known to have, and that is that he has been known to often become easily frustrated. That said, Gangrel managed to gain the advantage in this match, and was set to deliver his patented Impaler DDT, when The Midnight Delight ran in and began assaulting Gangrel. While it is not immediately known what connection the Midnight Delight has to Ballard, it is known that Billy Blade and Gangrel have quite a history as they once teamed together to form the team Bloodline. The referee called for the disqualification.

Winner as a result of a Disqualification:
Gangrel The Vampire Warrior

After The Match
Vendetta Pro officials informed ring announcer J. Biggs that due to the actions of Shannon Ballard, that Ballard would begin the Casino Royale Rumble at number one. Having just been in a tough match with Gangrel, this would put Ballard at a distinct disadvantage, because the Casino Royale Rumble began… next!

Inter-Promotional Main Event
for the vacant
Vendetta Pro Heavyweight Championship

Casino Royale Rumble

Shannon Ballard of Vendetta Pro started first, while the members of Midnight Delight were removed from the ringside area to enter according to the number they had drawn. Two men began the match, and another entered every thirty seconds until everyone has entered, and competitors are eliminated by being thrown over-the-top rope with both feet hitting the floor. The Mayan Warrior from Adrenaline Unleashed came in second. Among the other competitors were Ricky Ruffin, J.D. Horror, Clay Tawzer, Sunami, Kadin Anthony, Billy Blade, Mr. Impact, Red Rhyno, Famous B, Robbie Phoenix, , Ty-Tan, Tommy Misfit, “Pali Prince” Saleem Erakat, Gunner Tobias Ulrich, Kraven, Mayan Warrior, Skankin Tater Downey, Crayz,”Sizzlin” James Slay, Dylan Griffin, Lorenzo Hawkins, Jayson Cash, and Vansack Acid. Sean Casey, the former Vendetta Pro Heavyweight Champion, took this opportunity to regain his title. In fact, to show just how important and well-respected the Vendetta Pro Heavyweight title has become, even former WWE Superstar Raven—who has held the WCW United States Heavyweight title, as well as multiple reigns with the VCW, 3PW, ECW and NWA World Heavyweight titles at different times during his illustrious career—took the opportunity to add the Vendetta Pro Heavyweight title to his already impressive resume.
During the match, the building’s lights went out! We initially believed this to be an unfortunate technical difficulty, but suspicious happenings later in the match have caused for an investigation to be launched by the Office of the Commissioner of Vendetta Pro Wrestling, with the assistance and cooperation of Adrenaline Unleashed management. We know that the building uses mercury lights, which provide great lighting, but take a good period of time to come back on once shut off. During this period, the match continued as the Adrenaline Unleashed entranceway set provided minimal but adequate lighting for the live crowd (but not for the crowd watching online), and the majority of eliminations took place during this dark period. The last fou in the Adrenaline Unleashed six-sided ring were both members of the Midnight Delight: Billy Blade and Sean Casey, Ty-Tan, and Raven. Raven had been eliminated by Billy Blade, who was in-turn eliminated by Ty-Tan. Ty-Tan then eliminated Sean Casey to win the Casino Royale Rumble and become the new Vendetta Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion!
…or, did he? The bell has never rung, and while Ty-Tan was celebrating, in from behind came Shannon Ballard, who slipped outside under the bottom rope earlier in the match, which is NOT an elimination, as a wrestler must go over the TOP rope with both feet hitting the floor. The bell rung, and the match was now over as only one man had been left. Ballard had hidden out for a good portion of the match, and was forgotten about until the end.

Winner of the Casino Royale Rumble
and NEW
Vendetta Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion:

Shannon Ballard

After The Match
Gangrel came back out to assault Shannon Ballard. The Midnight Delight came in to make it three-on-one against Gangrel, but SU/KA soon joined the melee. A furious Ty-Tan came back into the ring to dish out some punishment. Jason Cash joined in just to participate in some anarchy, but he should’ve cashed out as he was soon met with big Sitout Powerbomb by Ty-Tan! Finally, even though he hadn’t been involved in any of the matches, Junior “Rikishi” Fatu came in, and helped SU/KA, Gangrel and Ty-Tan! Gangrel hit the Impaler DDT on Ballard, while SU/KA dealt with Blade. This all culminated with Sean Casey taking a Savate Kick from Fatu, which left him sitting in the corner… which, of course, led to a Stinkface that left Sean Casey looking (smelling?) not-so-sexy. Still, while Gangrel, SU/KA, Ty-Tan and Fatu may have left the building with their heads held high, it was Shannon Ballard who left the building with the gold.
The Office of the Commissioner of Vendetta Pro Wrestling has launched an investigation into whether Shannon Ballard had anything to do with the building’s lights going out, while Adrenaline Unleashed Pro Wrestling management has cooperated and provided assistance as it was one of their own who was cheated out of the title. No further official statements have been made so far.
