As many are well aware, the NWA Western States Tag Team Champions–The Twisted Sisterz–are headed to Japan to compete for World Wonder Ring Stardom for the next few months.
Obviously, as a result, they will not be defending their Tag Team titles within the Western United States region until they return.

Commissioner Joseph Duncan issued the following statement regarding this situation:

Vendetta Pro Wrestling, on behalf of the National Wrestling Alliance, has come to terms with World Wonder Ring Stardom, allowing them temporary, provisional control of the NWA Western States Tag Team Championship.
This will allow World Wonder Ring Stardom to hold officially sanctioned contests for the NWA Western States Tag Team Championship as a part of their events, should they choose to.

This temporary control will last throughout the tour of Japan in which the current, reigning NWA Western States Tag Team Champions will be participating. Should the current champions lose the NWA Western States Tag Team Championship in Japan, they must be granted a rematch for their titles pursuant to the standard regulations of the National Wrestling Alliance. Furthermore, in the event that upon completion of the tour, the current Champions no longer hold their titles, the reigning titleholders must defend the NWA Western States Tag Team Championship against opponents approved by Vendetta Pro Wrestling and the National Wrestling Alliance within the Western United States Territory within 90 days, or relinquish the titles if unable to do so.

As the NWA Western States Tag Team Championship is represented by the Vendetta Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship belts, the physical belts must be returned upon completion of the tour regardless of whether the legal title of NWA Western States Tag Team Champions returns with them.

We wish our current Champions the best of luck in their tour of Japan, and we wish our friends at World Wonder Ring Stardom continued success.

Joseph Duncan
Commissioner, Vendetta Pro Wrestling
Western States Commissioner, National Wrestling Alliance

Whether or not the titles will be at stake at any point in Japan is currently unknown, but The Twisted Sisterz will be competing in the annual Goddesses of Stardom Tag League.
As we understand it, they will be competing in the Blue Goddess Group, which includes the teams of Yoko Bito & Kairi Hojo, Hiromi Mimura & Saori Anno, and Chelsea Green & former NWA Women’s World Champion Santana Garrett.
