October 15, 2011, Davina Rose made her first appearance inside a Vendetta Pro Wrestling ring at Terror Rising. That night, who knew that Santa Maria, California was seeing a future WWE NXT Women’s Champion?

For one, there was no WWE NXT Women’s title yet, but there are only so many spots at the top and many, many extremely talented professional wrestlers in the world–both male and female.
On that night, Davina Rose defeated Amber O’Neal, picking up her first Vendetta Pro win and starting her undefeated streak in Vendetta Pro.

Davina was no rookie. She had trained and had been competing with Big Time Wrestling in Northern California for a few years, and she had just recently started to branch out on the Independent Circuit. Davina would go on to compete for promotions like Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, Shimmer Women Athletes, and of course, Vendetta Pro, among others.

Shortly after Summertime Bruise 2012 and her victory over Kc Spinelli, Davina was signed to WWE, and she became one of the most popular competitors on the NXT roster under the name Bayley. This last weekend, August 22, 2015, Bayley defeated “The Boss” Sasha Banks for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship in front of a sold out house at Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center as well as a worldwide audience on the WWE Network–a far cry from the crowds ranging from 300-to-2500 in her appearances at Vendetta Pro and the regional audience on Vendetta Pro TV.

Congratulations Bayley–our Davina Rose–on winning your first title in WWE!
