For the better part of the last year, these two former best friends turned brothers have turned heated enemies.
These aren’t just former Two-Time Tag Team Champions, they’re Vendetta Pro Originals (dating all the way back to the days of the California Wrestling Alliance). Each man is a former Vendetta Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. Each man gave up their rematch clause in exchange for a shot at the Tag Team Championship in Vendetta Pro, which led to them claiming the titles on two occasions. Each man–as young as they are–have been in the Professional Wrestling business for nearly a decade and a half!
Kadin Anthony is a world-traveled veteran. Sunami is the ONLY Grand Slam Vendetta Pro Champion. But ever since Kadin Anthony made his return to Vendetta Pro last year, Sunami has felt like the odd man out. After all, it was Kadin who had left Professional Wrestling for a short time almost immediately after he and Sunami won the NWA Western States Tag Team Championship back at Summer Sizzle V – VendettaVersary. When Kadin made his return, it wasn’t to Vendetta Pro, but to Cen-Cal Pro Wrestling in San Luis Obispo. When Kadin made a surprise return to Vendetta Pro, the team led by Billy Blade that was opposing the Cen-Cal invasion welcomed Kadin back as if he were a conquering hero, while sending Sunami to take on his former protégé R.J. Cruz.
Perhaps feeling snubed by the Vendetta Pro team, Sunami soon defected to Team Cen-Cal, and helped them score the victory over Team Vendetta Pro in the War Games match at Vendettaversary VII. In an ironic twist of events, the war soon ended following the battle between Sledge and Billy Blade at September To Remember VII, which saw Team Cen-Cal members come to the ring to show respect to Blade. Sunami, perhaps now feeling like a man without a home, teamed up with another former Team Cen-Cal member in Jimmy Ray, who was also ditched by Team Cen-Cal following the war’s end. Together, they vowed to destroy Vendetta Pro Wrestling from within. But while the two agents of chaos looked to wreak havoc over all of Vendetta Pro, their main target remained none other than the other half so SU/KA, Kadin Anthony. The challenge was made back at April Cruels Day for a match at Vendettaversary 8.

“There’s not enough room in Vendetta Pro for both of us!” exclaimed Sunami at Summer Sizzle, who then issued the challenge for the match to be an “I Quit” match.

At Vendettaversary 8, one of these two say “I Quit”.
